San Antonio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March

Greetings Sir Knights,

The San Antonio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. march is the largest march in the nation with an estimated size of nearly 300,000 participants.  The march follows a 3 mile route from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy located at 3501 Martin Luther King Dr. to Pittman-Sullivan Park located 1101 Iowa St. 

The march is scheduled for 21 January 2019 at 10:00am.  Members of the 19th Masonic district will assemble at the Fred Brock American Legion Post 828 located at 3514 Martin Luther King Dr, San Antonio, TX 78220 no later than 9:15am for pictures.  It is recommend you carpool as much as possible due to limited parking and access to the beginning of the march site.  Parking is also available at the District Temple located at 1163 Rice Road, San Antonio, TX 78220 for those who may want to carpool to the American Legion Post.   There will public transportation available back to the beginning of the start location as well.

There district will also be participating in the wreath laying ceremony on 20 January 2019 at 2:00pm at Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza.  The plaza is located at the intersection of E. Houston and N. New Braunfels.  You can navigate to H-E-B at 415 N. New Braunfels Ave, San Antonio, TX 78202 for the location.
