Sanderson Commandery Back Pack Donation 2011
The Sanderson Commandery #2 donated 20 back packs to Blue Ridge
Elementary on October 28, 2011 at 11 a.m.
In the photo standing next to me to the left of the
class is the Principal Ms. Deidre Holloway (maroon dress) along
with one of the schools 1st grade class and their teacher Ms.
Edwards (black dress) to the right of the class.
The class was happy to showcase some of the
back packs.
Note:
Ms. Holloway the principal was named
ESC Region 4 Elementary Principal of the
Year. An educator for 16 years, she
has been principal
of Blue Ridge Elementary School
for the past four years. Additionally, she was a teacher for
five years and an assistant principal for seven years. She
earned her bachelor’s degree in academic studies from Sam
Houston State University and her master’s degree in
administration and supervision from Prairie View A&M University.
Blue Ridge Elementary School
was designated a 2011 Texas
Education Agency Title I, Distinguished Performance School
for consistently demonstrating strong academic performances over
a three-year period. Blue Ridge is among 1,046 schools in the
state and the only Fort Bend ISD campus to receive the
designation.
