The Lone Star Grand Guild held a very
successful Annual Grand Conclave for 2011 in the city of San Antonio, Texas.We were honored to have Grand Princess Captain
Sharon Holley with us from the State of Washington and of course our extended
family from Louisiana, Most Royal Grand Commandress, Amelia W. Clark.
A very, special thanks to Flowers of
Alamo Guild #8 and Alamo Commandery #7.Although the weather was very challenging that
weekend you both gave an outstanding performance!
We are about to embark upon our Annual
Training Conference beginning September 23-25, 2011 at the Most Worshipful
Prince Hall Grand Lodge in Ft Worth, Texas.We are blessed to have our Most Worshipful Grand
Master, The Honorable Wilbert M. Curtis as our guest speaker at the Black and
White Banquet this year.We will also continue the tradition of providing
our Toys for the 3rd Annual Prince Hall Family Toy Drive.
The Grand Guild will be donating to a
Charity in the Ft Worth area.Last year we donated to the Ft Worth All Children’s
Home Orphanage.It is always our mission to serve and assist in all
communities.
Because of the inclimate weather in San
Antonio this year, we will continue with our tradition of Drill Team competition
at our Training Conference.
